Happy New Year to everyone at Lake Forest Shores! Let's see what happens in 2022, but I doubt any changes will be coming our way at the beginning. Hopefully, good things will arrive at some point in the year.
Right now, as of December 15, 2021, masks are required for all individuals (with some exceptions) in all indoor public settings, regardless of vaccination status. Thankfully, it's not the same as in certain European countries where it is required to wear a mask outside.
As for 2022, the HOA fee for the Beach & Tennis Club has increased to $147/month. If you are doing automatic payments via your bank account, make sure that you adjust to reflect the new monthly amount to avoid any late penalty fees or other issues.
If anyone is able to dedicate time to being a the Board for the Beach & Tennis Club, a "Nomination Procedure Notice" was sent via the Village Newsletter with information on qualifications, dates & times of board meetings, and procedures / deadline for submitting a nomination.
This is not for the Lake Forest Shores board, but for the Beach & Tennis Club; the 2nd HOA that you pay each month.
