If you're thinking about having fun lighting your own fireworks, please be safe and pay attention to the following "safety" tips:
1. Do not use / purchase "illegal" fireworks.
2. Fireworks need to be "Safe and Sane".
3. Have a bucket of water/hose handy.
4. Adult(s) should be present at all times.
5. Use common sense/keep a safe distance.
6. Fireworks are to be used outdoors only.
7. Always read directions.
Ten (10) cities in Orange County allow the sale and use of "Safe and Sane" fireworks, which has become a big fundraising opportunity for school and community groups: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Santa Ana, Stanton, Villa Park and Westminster. Please be aware of the strict rules regarding the use of fireworks, as each violation could range from $500+ in penalty fines.
As in every year, show off your patriotism, wear your red, white & blue with pride, and have a great time with your family & friends!
